Donate a Desi Milk-Giving Cow with Calf through Vedic Rituals

Gau Daan is one of the most sacred acts of Sanatan Dharma. It is the divine seva of donating a desi milk-giving cow along with her calf through proper Vedic pooja and rituals, performed by learned Vedic Brahmins.

At Krishnayan, Gau Daan is performed with devotion, purity, and proper Vedic procedure. A desi cow with her calf is offered to the Ashram in the presence of learned Brahmins, with complete pooja, mantras, sankalp, and traditional vidhi.

This is not just a donation. It is a sacred offering made for Dharma, seva, blessings, and spiritual upliftment.

Main Highlights of Gau Daan at Krishnayan

Desi Cow with Calf: A desi milk-giving cow along with her calf is donated as per Vedic tradition.

Full Vedic Pooja: Learned Vedic Brahmins perform the ceremony with mantras, sankalp, and proper rituals.

Donated to Ashram: The cow remains in the Ashram/Gaushala and is cared for respectfully.

Milk for Holy Purpose: The milk is used only for saints, needy people, Ashram seva, and sacred purposes.

Not Sold: The milk is not sold and is not used for any personal commercial benefit.

Online or In-Person Darshan: Devotees can witness the Gau Daan through video call or by visiting Krishnayan personally.

Lifelong Protection: When the cow becomes old and stops giving milk, she continues to live peacefully at Krishnayan Gaushala until the end of her life.

About us

‘Shree Krishnayan Sewa Foundation’ is one of the largest Gaurakshashala of desi cows in India. We protect, feed & shelter ailing, starving, destitute and stray desi cows majority of which are abandoned by their owners or saved from butchers. Most of these Gauvansh are milk barren. This gaushala is run and managed by saints. We do not sell milk or milk products. We started with just 11 cows in the year 2010 in Haridwar and presently we shelter and feed more than 35000 cows. We are registered with Animal Welfare Board of India (Chennai) and with animal welfare board in various states.
