Caring for 35,000+ rescued Gauvansh is not just an act of serviceโit is a daily responsibility of nourishment, protection, and dignity. At this scale, even the simplest necessity like fodder becomes a massive and continuous commitment.
At Krishnayan, we ensure that every Gau Mata receives complete and balanced nutrition, including:
Among all of these, dry fodder (husk) is the foundationโit supports digestion, provides essential roughage, and keeps the entire feeding system balanced.
When cows stop giving milk, they are often seen as a burden. They are abandoned and left to survive on streets, highways, and garbage dumps without food, care, or safety.
These Gau Mata are forced to wander hungry in search of food, eat plastic and waste to survive, suffer injuries and disease, and live without dignity or protection. Thousands of aged, injured, and abandoned cows silently suffer every day.
Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala is committed to changing this reality.
Today, more than 35,000 Gauvansh live here safely, rescued from suffering and given proper shelter, nourishment, and care. Every cow receives daily fodder, medical attention, and a protected environment.
Feeding such a large number of cows requires huge quantities of dry fodder every day. Husk is essential for digestion, strength, and survival, making it one of the most critical components of their diet.
Husk is mainly available in bulk during the April to July harvest season when prices are lowest and quality is best. After this period, prices increase, supply becomes limited, and quality often declines.
If bulk procurement is delayed, the Gaushala faces higher costs, lower quality fodder, and supply instability, making it difficult to maintain consistent feeding for thousands of animals.
This campaign focuses on securing husk at the right time to ensure uninterrupted nutrition, protect against rising costs, and maintain feeding stability for the coming months.
Without timely support, feeding costs increase, quality may decline, and the financial burden becomes difficult to manage.
Your contribution directly helps provide essential dry fodder, supports the health of 35,000+ Gauvansh, and ensures continued care and protection for abandoned animals.
Together, we can ensure that no Gau Mata sleeps hungry and every life is protected with dignity and care.
Support this mission and help secure nourishment for thousands of lives.
