Cause
The Cause: Fodder for Cows – Why It Truly Matters.

Caring for thousands of cows requires enormous resources. Quality fodder is not cheap, and compromised food leads to illness and weakness.

At Krishnayan, we provide:

  • Dry fodder (bhusa, hay, straw)
  • Green fodder (seasonal grass and greens)
  • Grains and supplements for weak, injured, and aged cows
  • Special diet for sick and recovering Gauvansh

With inflation and climate challenges, the cost of maintaining nutritious fodder has increased significantly. Yet, we refuse to compromise on quality because Gau Mata deserves the best.

When cows grow old and stop giving milk, they are often considered a burden. Many are abandoned by their owners and left to survive on their own, hungry, injured, and helpless. These innocent Gau Mata, who once served families selflessly, are forced to roam streets, highways, and fields in search of food and safety.

Thousands of such abandoned, aged, injured, and barren desi cows struggle every day. Chased away from farms and villages, they wander onto busy roads or scavenge through garbage heaps, eating plastic and waste just to survive. Without proper food or medical care, their lives become a silent story of suffering.

Shree Krishnayan Desi Gaurakshashala is committed to changing this painful reality.

Today, Krishnayan shelters and cares for over 30,000 desi Gauvansh, giving them what they were once denied, shelter, nourishment, dignity, and love. These cows, who once wandered helplessly on streets and fields, now live in a protected environment where their basic needs are fulfilled every day.

At Krishnayan, every cow receives nutritious fodder such as chaff, bran, green fodder, and jaggery, ensuring strength and wellbeing. Regular weekly veterinary check-ups are conducted to monitor their health, treat injuries, and provide timely medical support. Each Gau Mata is cared for with compassion, not as an animal, but as a living symbol of life and service.

However, feeding and caring for such a large number of cows is a continuous and costly responsibility. Rising fodder prices, medical expenses, and daily care requirements make this seva challenging without support.

This is where your contribution becomes life-saving.

By supporting Shree Krishnayan Gauraksha, you help provide essential fodder, medical care, and protection to cows who have no one else. Your donation ensures that no Gau Mata sleeps hungry, no injured cow is left untreated, and no life is abandoned again.

Together, we can restore dignity to Gau Mata.

Join us in this sacred mission of Gaugraas Seva, because feeding the mother cow is not charity, it is Dharma.

Barren, Abandoned & Stray Cows

A painful truth of modern society is that cows are often abandoned when:

     They stop giving milk

They become pregnant repeatedly and weak

     They grow old or disabled

They fall sick or meet with accidents

Such cows are left to wander, starve or die.

Krishnayan rescues these voiceless lives and gives them:

     Permanent shelter

     Medical care

     Emotional security

     Daily food through Gaugraas

For these cows, your donation becomes their daily meal.
